Homes that fit your brain, not the other way round.
Diverse Digs is the neurodivergent-centred way to find a home, housemates, and landlords who genuinely get it. We match on sensory fit and social rhythm — in plain words, never scores.

🌱 Born from lived experience
Growing up, I moved between homes across London, and every move meant the same thing: walking into a house of five or six strangers, and hoping we would all get on. I thought the social effort and the anxiety were just me. I didn't know there was a name for any of it.
At 46, I was diagnosed as autistic, with ADHD, a pervasive drive for autonomy, RSD, sensory processing differences, dyspraxia, and CPTSD. The diagnosis also took something away: I learned I had been masking my whole life, without ever realising it. The mask was stripped away, and everything I had struggled to explain finally made sense.
Then my living situation changed, and I found myself back in my parents' home at 46 — facing the same rigmarole all over again. Meeting new people. Hoping we would get on. Wondering how I was going to share a home with random strangers, and whether anyone would understand how I actually live.
That is where Diverse Digs was born. A home search that starts with your brain, your senses, and your rhythm — so nobody has to hope for the best again.

Matching by how you actually live
Most housing platforms match on budget and a postcode. We start somewhere more honest: your senses, your social battery, and your rhythm.
🎧
Sensory fit first
Sound, light, smell, and clutter — for every home and every housemate. Gentle filtering hides what you told us hurts, and never hides people.
🫂
Social rhythm, matched honestly
Parallel play, info-dump friendships, low-demand days. You say how you socialise; we say plainly whether a home runs the same way.
💬
Plain words, never scores
No percentages, no star ratings, no league tables. Just honest phrases like “good fit” and “different rhythm”, so nothing gets misread.
🌙
Rest is built in
Burnout Mode pauses your inbox with a kind auto-reply. Notifications never demand. Replies are always optional, on every side.
Landlords who pledge, not just promise
Our Certified Neuroaffirming Landlord pledge is a real commitment: a sensory audit of every property (lighting, flooring, appliances, and what sits outside the windows), agreed notice protocols, and pre-approved sensory adjustments like warm bulbs and acoustic panels. Tenants review anonymously, in their own words — the honest ledger safe housing deserves.
Community, the low-pressure way
Everything SpareRoom-style you'd expect — built for brains that need the volume turned down.
Kindred buddy-ups
Find a fellow neurodivergent housemate to search with — twice the courage, half the pressure.
The Brain Library
Plain-word explainers on brain wiring, sensory worlds, and living together — written with us, not about us.
The Living Contract
Quiet hours, lighting, smells, guests, and burnout days — agreed together before anything is signed.
The Noticeboard
A low-pressure community board for questions, wins, and advice. No noise, no judgement.
