🏠 What Diverse Digs is
- 🌿Diverse Digs is a housing community built around how your senses and your brain work best. It matches room seekers, households, and landlords on real living habits, not photos or scores.
- 🌿You must be 18 or older to use Diverse Digs.
- 🌿You need one account per person. Be honest about who you are and what living works for you. That honesty is what makes matching work.
🤝 The deal, in plain words
- 🌿Nobody may ask you for money, bank details, or identity documents in chat. The app blocks these messages automatically, and asking for them can get an account removed.
- 🌿Rent and deposits are arranged in writing through the app. If anyone asks you to pay outside the app, that is a warning sign of a scam. Report it.
- 🌿You never have to reply fast. Rest Mode is your right, not a favour. Nobody is penalised for resting.
- 🌿Reviews must be true and based on your own real experience.
- 🌿Landlords and households must describe their homes honestly, including lighting, sound, smells, and quiet hours. A listing that lies about its sensory environment can be removed.
🎭 How matching and identity work
- 🌿Your real name stays hidden until both people say it's a match. This protects everyone.
- 🌿Kindred buddy-up matching is double-blind: you only find out about each other if you both said yes.
- 🌿You may not copy or share another member's words, photos, or identity outside the community.
🛡️ Keeping the community safe
- 🌿Harassment, pressure, hate, and discrimination (including against LGBTQ+, non-binary, and ace/aro members) are not allowed anywhere in the app.
- 🌿If you see something unsafe, use Report. Reporting is anonymous and is always taken seriously.
- 🌿We may pause or remove accounts that break these terms. For serious safety issues, we will act quickly and tell you why, in plain language.
🪪 Who owns what
- 🌿Diverse Digs™, the house-and-infinity mark, the app's written words and design, and the DysPhilter® Spine safety engine with its reviewed reframe copy belong to Diverse Digs (part of the Diverse Solutions Canopy). Copyright and trademark law protect them.
- 🌿You may not scrape, copy, republish, or reuse the app's content, code, safety rules, or reframe wording anywhere else without written permission.
- 🌿Your own words, photos, and listings stay yours, as said in Leaving below.
- 🌿If you believe our work has been copied somewhere, tell us with the form below. Valid reports are acted on promptly.
🚪 Leaving
- 🌿You can delete your account yourself at any time in Settings. Your profile, listings, messages, saved homes, posts, and reviews you wrote are deleted.
- 🌿You own your own words and content. By posting them in the community spaces, you allow other members to see and translate them within the app.
📋 Report copied work
The formal route for a copyright or trademark complaint. Describe the work, where the copy is, and how we can reach you. Your report is kept confidential.
